The DGM-2D digital gaussmeter is capable of measuring DC and AC magnetic field strengths in X and Y dimensions, for field strengths up to 1000 Gauss and with a resolution of 0.1 gauss. The DGM-2D is typically supplied with two magnetic sensor elements, which are powered and monitored by the gaussmeter controller. A specialized connector connects the sensor to these two elements. The DGM-2D has an LCD digital readout which displays the magnetic field strengths at each sensor element. The system also provides a set of two analog output voltages which are proportional to the measured magnetic field strengths.
